1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging Bayan Translation LLC (“Bayan Translation,” “we,” “us”) for any translation, localization, interpretation, desktop publishing (DTP), or content services, you (“Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with your order.

2. Scope of Services

Bayan Translation provides professional language services including translation, certified translation, localization, simultaneous and consecutive interpretation, multilingual DTP, multilingual SEO, and content writing. The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each project are confirmed in writing via a project brief or purchase order prior to commencement.

3. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations are valid for 14 calendar days from the date of issue and are based on the source material provided at the time of quoting. Additional or revised content supplied after a quote is accepted may be subject to supplementary charges. Prices are quoted in USD or EGP as specified and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

4. Payment Terms

Standard payment terms are 50% deposit upon project confirmation and the remaining balance upon delivery. Certified translation and urgent projects may require full payment in advance. Invoices unpaid after 30 days are subject to a late payment charge of 1.5% per month. Bayan Translation reserves the right to withhold delivery of final files until payment is received in full.

5. Confidentiality

We treat all client materials as strictly confidential. All linguists and project staff are bound by signed non-disclosure agreements. We will not share, publish, or disclose client documents or project details to any third party without prior written consent, except where required by law.

6. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, the Client receives full ownership rights over the translated or produced content. Bayan Translation retains no rights to resell, republish, or reproduce client deliverables. The Client represents that they own or have the right to translate all source materials submitted.

7. Revisions and Quality

All projects include one round of complimentary revisions provided the revision request is submitted within 7 calendar days of delivery and falls within the original project scope. Bayan Translation follows ISO 17100 translation quality standards. Revisions resulting from changes to the original brief or source material will be quoted separately.

8. Cancellation

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Work completed prior to cancellation will be invoiced at the pro-rata rate. Deposits are non-refundable once production has commenced. Bayan Translation reserves the right to cancel a project if source materials are found to contain illegal, defamatory, or harmful content.

9. Limitation of Liability

Bayan Translation’s total liability for any claim arising from a project shall not exceed the fees paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses including loss of profit, business interruption, or reputational damage. The Client is responsible for reviewing all deliverables before publication or submission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cairo, Egypt.
